GIULIANA'S TAPESTRY: FROM SIENA TO STORIES
Origin and Early Life
Born in the scenic heart of Siena, Italy, my affair with stories began uniquely. At a tender age of four, a simple gift - a box of markers - led me to doodle tales on our home walls. Only when paper replaced walls did the illustrations turn into passionate scribbles.
Adventures and Academics
Journeying from Italy's artistic lanes to the distant classrooms in Japan, I've been a globetrotter, teaching Italian across continents. By 2001, Whidbey
Island, Washington became my anchor. My academic pursuit in Classic Italian Literature and Philosophy, laced with an English minor, doesn't just reflect in my credentials but also in the essence of my narratives, tinged with a Chianti-infused accent.
Linguistic Palette
Languages have always been my companions. Fluent in Spanish and devotedly connected to Japanese, especially over sushi feasts, I juggle with words effortlessly. Though my French seems like a distant memory now, it still finds its way into my heart occasionally.
Life on Whidbey Island
The serene Whidbey Island isn't just a dwelling; it's the canvas of my daily life. In our quaint yellow cottage, the laughter of an unstoppable toddler mingles with the soft purrs of our three cats. The backyard, flourishing with a vegetable garden, also houses Federico, our ever-watchful fig tree.
Current Pursuits
Amid the symphony of family, nature, and pets, my passion for writing burns bright. Currently engrossed in the Entrainment Series' Book II, my free moments oscillate between weaving tales and sinking into rejuvenating sleep.
